About Computer

 COMPUTER 🖥️ is an electronic and digital machine which can accept data, process data and give desire result according to the instruction of the user.

Computer 🖥️ stands for Common Operating Machine purposely used for technological and educational research.

Computer 🖥️ has mainly two Parts : Hardware and Software.

Hardware : The parts of the computer system which we can see and touch. For example: Input device, Output Device, Processing Device, Storage Device.

Input Device: The devices which are used for input to the computer system are called input devices. For example: Keyboard, Mouse, Joystick 🕹️, Microphone 🎤 and, MICR, OMR etc.

Processing Device: The device which is used for process data is called processing device. CPU is only the example of processing device. CPU is also called the Brain 🧠 of the Computer 🖥️.

Output Device: The devices which are used to give output or result from the Computer system are called Output Device. For example: Monitor, Printer 🖨️, Plotter, Speaker 🔊, LCD Projector 📽️ etc  

Storage Device: The devices which are used for store data or save data and we can retrieved when required are called Storage Device. For example Pen drive, Hard disk, CD 📀, DVD 📀, Floppy Disk💾 etc.

Software: The set of instructions are called programs and The set of programs are known as Software. 

For example: System Software & Application Software.

System Software: System Software is a computer program that is designed to run a hardware and application program. For example: Windows, Linux, Android, macOS etc.

Application Software: Application Software is a computer program that is designed to do for specific task. For example: Microsoft office, Web Browser, 🎨 Paint, Photoshop, Calculator etc.
